Caroline’s artistic journey began in early childhood, from the moment she first picked up a pencil. Recognizing her natural talent, her parents encouraged her creativity thereby laying the foundation for a lifelong passion for art.
She initially focused on painting portraits of people and pets, later discovering her love for mural painting while working on a church project. From there, she began creating custom-painted murals for friends and family.
The enthusiastic response for her work, along with encouragement from her partner, Steve, inspired her to establish a professional mural and decorative painting business.

Skywoods started as a business in January 2005 with husband and wife team Steve and Caroline Kosar. We specialize in custom murals, faux finishes, trompe l’oeil, and decorative painting for homes and businesses.
We are Specialty licensed for residential, commercial and bonded.
Together we have painted many homes and business throughout Arizona and several other states. Every project is a collaborative process, tailored to the client’s unique vision and style.
